Vessel Stability
MID have proven experience in undertaking all aspects of vessel stability analysis and documentation, for a wide range of vessels which include research vessels, tugs, deep sea fishing vessels, project cargo and bunker barges, sail training ships, Ro-Ro Ferries , Naval vessels (fleet replenishment tanker, landing craft, multi-role vessel) and super-yachts. MID has worked with a wide range of flag states and class societies – MNZ, Cook Islands, Bahamas, Lloyds, DNV-GL and BV.
Customized Winch Design
MID have proven experience and specialist mechanical engineering competence in the custom design of windlasses, drum winches, towing winches and mooring winches.
3D Modelling & Analysis
MID have extensive proven experience and technical know-how with the modelling of maritime design projects and in undertaking the detailed and specialist 3D computational analysis required to refine and optimise design projects.
Electrical Design & Management
MID has proven capability with providing project related electrical support services, professional electrical engineering and project management in regard to electrical power generation, power management, distribution and control for new- builds, conversions, upgrades, surveys and dockings.
Vessel Docking & Slipping
MID have the proven capability and technical expertise in the assessment, review and approval of docking arrangements. MID also have technical knowledge and proven professional involvement in the design, assessment and review of slipping systems, floating docks and lifting appliances.
