Marine Industrial Design (MID) has a reputation in providing professional marine consultancy services.

To support continued business success and sustained growth we are looking for experienced marine professionals to join our team.

Working in partnership with our clients and as part of our close knit team you will use your technical skills and experience to provide systems analysis and reviews and prepare high quality professional reports along with guidance, advice and practical engineering design solutions to overcome the challenges our clients encounter in the modern marine environment.

You will use your in depth knowledge and understanding of Naval and Commercial operations and applicable Classification and Statutory regulations and international standards to provide expert guidance and reports.

To maintain our Professional level of service you will be a degree qualified Engineer or Naval Architect.

To provide Pragmatic engineering solutions that will work in the real world you will have extensive experience obtained either in operations or in the construction, refit and repair of commercial and naval vessels.

Your performance will be Proven by by solid references and evidence of continued development within your career.

Excellent communication and reporting skills supported by proficiency with CAD software, recent practical experience and a knowledge of the marine industry in New Zealand and Australia would help you fit quickly into our team and be considered highly advantageous.
